Can You Use ChatGPT to Learn Linear Algebra for Machine Learning?

People are very enthusiastic about using ChatGPT and LLM to learn new things, so I tested out it’s ability to help me studying linear algebra for machine learning. They claimed it’s much better than following courses like the ones in Coursera and you can save money by unsubscribing those course platforms. I happened to have taken a course in Coursera about Math in Machine learning, so let’s compare them!

Installing Mr. Ranedeer

I started by using Mr. Ranedeer from ChatGPT store, which is a powerful prompt to instruct ChatGPT generate learning plan for us. To install, you can simply search Mr. Ranedeer in the ChatGPT store, or visit their Github page.

Then I used /config and followed the wizard link to set up my preference. As a reference, I chose my degree to be Advanced (Between Undergraduate and Master’s). You can choose multiple options not just one!
